Yes. The library has both streaming and physical video collections.

The library provides access to streaming videos and films through the following databases:

  • Academic Video Online (AVON) : a video collection of more than 65,000 titles curated for their educational content in a wide range of subject areas including, but not limited to, anthropology, business, health, history, psychology and music. Also available through AVON is the Ethnographic Video Online video collection.

  • Kanopy : a sizable video collection that includes a wide range of movies, tv series, documentaries, interviews and instructional videos. Major subject areas include arts, health, education, sciences, social sciences, languages, media & communication, business and more.

Both databases can be accessed through our Online Databases A-Z list.

The library Media Collection includes a variety of films in DVD and Blu-ray formats. Use OneSearch, our library discovery tool, to find a specific title.
