Most dissertations and theses available from our library can be found in Dissertations & Theses Global database. To find this database follow these steps:
- Go to our library homepage: https://westoahu.hawaii.edu/library/
- Hover over the Research tab to find and select Online Databases
- From the A-Z databases list, select Dissertations & Theses Global
Dissertations and Theses Global is a comprehensive collection of dissertations and theses. Most of the dissertations added to Dissertations & Theses Global since 1997 and many previously added works are available in full-text. Check the “Full-text” box under the Basic Search box and under the Advanced Search boxes if you wish to limit your results to materials readily available in full-text.
Also, you can browse or search for UH dissertations and theses that are available in full text from ScholarSpace, UH Manoa’s institutional digital repository. To find dissertations & theses available from Scholar Space select the 'Community' button to view the Top-Level Communities. Select Dissertations & Theses to browse dissertations and theses by subject, title, author or date, or use the search box located on the upper right hand side of the page to perform a keyword search.
Many dissertations and theses can also be found by performing a title search or a keyword search with added limiters on OneSearch, our library discovery tool. Please contact us if you need help finding materials.
